4.)      Maratha Palace: Along with the Chola Dynasty, this part was also significantly ruled by the Maranthas at specific periods. The Maratha Palace stands tall speaking volumes of the glory of the Marathas. This palace is known to belong to the Bhonsle family and is renowned for its architecture and minutely designed durbars.
5.)      Thanjavur Dolls and paintings for your souvenir:  Thanjavur is the home to the world famous bobble head dolls. The paintings are heavily influenced by Indian art forms and movement.
